Directions From Vancouver

Traveling Eastbound on Hwy #1, take the “Old Yale, Harrison Hot Springs, Agassiz (all, or any of these)” exit and go north on hwy #9. Cross the big bridge and take the first left, which will take you into, and through, Agassiz. You will cross some railroad tracks heading northwest. Follow this road for 1/2mile to a 3-way intersection (Esso station on your right). Turn right. You are now on Hot Springs Rd/ Hwy#9. Follow for 1/2 mile, and turn left on McCallum Rd. Follow McCallum to the end, and turn right. Follow road to the track, staying to the right!! All the way along the way route (including Hwy #1) you will see signs to Kent Agassiz Raceway (right beside the motocross track) and Harrison Hot Springs. Follow these signs and you can’t go wrong. If you miss the turnoff at McCallum Rd., you will end up in Harrison Hot Springs Resort, in about 3 miles. (Maybe you should plan on making that mistake. Your wife would love you for it). Look for the signs on race day, and practice days. Also The local pizza –Domino’s, delivers to the track. Their number is 604 491-1001.

Directions From Bellingham

Take the Meridian Street (also called Guide Meridian) exit off I-5 (at the Bellis Fair Mall exit) in Bellingham. It is 539 on this map. Go quite a few miles to the other side of Lynden and turn right on E. Badger Rd. As you can see on the map, it turns left (becoming Garrison) and then it turns right (becoming Halverstick). Turn left on Cherry St., in Sumas, and drive to the border. Make sure everyone takes off their sun glasses and look the person in the eye and answer the questions precisely. They are usually friendly but don’t act that way. Make sure you have your passport. After you cross the border, go to the freeway (Highway 1) and go East (to your right). Follow the signs to Harrison Hot Springs and to Agassiz Raceway.

RV Dump Station and Water

In Agassiz, there is a dump station, rinse water, and drinking water. When you come into town and get to the light by Super Valu, go straight through to the stop sign (approx. 3 blocks) turn right and follow it (it will curve to the left) past the play grounds. Watch your speed, the police monitor it quite often. Just before the skateboard park, turn left into the fair grounds, you will see the dump station. It is a municipal facility so there is no charge and beautiful drinking water. The Agassiz Skatepark shows quite clearly on Google maps if you search Agassiz, BC and then look at Pioneer Avenue along the railroad tracks.
